Today I'm going to tell a story about Ryan from the Ruijing IC class. Ryan was only 1 year old when he first came to school. Before entering Sunshine Home, his mother was worried that he would not eat by himself and as a result, become sick.

On his first day, his father accompanied him. Ryan felt a sense of safety when he was beside his father. He was very joyful and lively, smiling at the teacher and at the other kids.

Then, on the second day, he cried like many children who face school on their own for the first time. However, on the third day Ryan quickly adapted himself to school. He became talkative and opened up to the staff. Now, whenever he sees the teachers cleaning the work materials, he goes and helps. When he goes home, he will say, "Bye Bye!" Every time a teacher greets him and asks him “how are you?” he will joke and say, "I'm not good." Our teacher also likes to joke with him. Our teacher will say “Who are you?” He will smile and say, "I don't know." Everyday Ryan asks the teacher many times what she is doing. 

Sometimes I wonder if Ryan is funny because he’s cute or cute because he’s funny. Either way, he is a great student!
